WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – There are reports that one of the injured survivors from the Colorado shooting was going to pursue a masters degree at the University of Maryland this fall.
Petra Anderson was going to study in the graduate program at Maryland’s School of Music, according to the ABC-7 report. She was shot in the head, but is expected to recover.
James Holmes, the suspect in the Aurora theater shooting, had his first court appearance on Monday. Holmes is suspected of killing 12 people on Friday and leaving more than 50 injured. Get more on the shootings from CBS Denver.
